Inspection fees
  Number of inspections required will depend upon the Building Consent requirements.
   $105.00 per visit
  • Assessment of the number of building Inspections will be made as part of the Building Consent process. The assessed inspections and government levies (if required) will be invoiced with the Building Consent fees and must be paid prior to the Building Consent being issued.
  • An inspection audit is undertaken at the completion of each project. Any extra inspections required - in addition to those paid with the Building Consent fees - will be invoiced. These extra fees must be paid before a Code Compliance Certificate will be issued.
  • Pre-paid inspections that have not been required will be refunded when the Code Compliance Certificate is issued.
  • If the cost of ‘processing’ significantly exceeds the unit price then the actual time taken shall be payable at the per hour rate.
Projects $20,000 and over are subject to government levies from both DBH and BRANZ
