Resource Management Act 1991 Section Base Fee Set Fee Discretions

1.

 Non-notified Resource Consents /designation applications       Where costs for any application in the schedule for processing and considering applications exceed the base fee, the Council may charge an additional fee which shall not be more than the total of Council’s actual and reasonable costs including disbursements.
  Subdivisions 88 $1,000.00  
  Land Use 88 $800.00  
  Designations 168, 168A $1,300.00  
  Alteration to a Designation   $600.00  
  Removal of a Designation   $180.00

 Notified Resource Consents/designations       For Base fees, the Manager: Planning and Environmental Services is authorised pursuant to Section 34 of the Resource Management Act, 1991 to set a different base fee of up to $25,000.00 for applications considered to be simple or complex or otherwise likely to cost significantly more or less than the base fee.
  Subdivisions    88, 93    $1,800.00  
  Land Use    88, 93    $1,600.00  
  Designations, including uplifting    168, 168A    $1,700.00  
3. Non-notified consents and designations of a minor nature   $600.00  
4. Certificates of Compliance 139 $500.00

  Requiring Engineering Consideration   $800.00

 To be added to the cost of the base fee for all applications for Resource Consent.

Certificates        
  Section 221 – Consent Fee 221 $180.00   Fees for certificates must be paid each time when an amended certificate or further information for a certificate has to be considered.
  Section 221 - Change or cancellation of Consent Notice 221 $180.00  
  Section 223 – Survey Plan 223 $180.00  
  Section 226 – Title registration 226 $180.00  
  Section 222 – Completion 222 $180.00    
  Section 243 - Easement approvals and cancellation - report and certificate 243 $180.00    
  Section 224 – Title (This fee includes the planning work for signing certificate. It does not include engineering checks, design plans, as built Plan approvals.) 224 $300.00   Actual fees for 224 and other Certificates not listed will include costs of processing, site visits, signing and disbursements. The 224 Certificate will not be signed until all costs have been paid
