Internet Banking - Rates & Water Rates


Rates and Water Accounts may be paid by Internet or Telephone Banking.  You will need to set up a separate payment for each Rates Assessment or Water Billing Account you hold to ensure the payment is credited to the correct account, e.g. if you have two or more water billing accounts or two or more rateable properties you will need to set up a payment for each one using separate details as outlined below.

Rates Payments

Please submit the following details when setting up a rates payment by Internet or Telephone Banking:

Enter 02  (000002 for BNZ customers) - followed by your Property ID number eg 02-12345. You will need to obtain your Property ID number from the Hauraki District Council by phoning 0800 734 834 or emailing us at service@hauraki-dc.govt.nz

          /       .        
 		 Enter your Valuation Number as it appears on your rates demand e.g. 12345/678.90


Water Account Payments

Please submit the following details when setting up a water account payment by Internet or Telephone Banking:

Enter your surname
0 7 -        
Enter 07- followed by your 4-digit Account number from the top left of your Water Rates Tax Invoice,  eg 07-1234
          /       .        
 		 Enter your Valuation Number as it appears on the top left of your Water Rates Tax Invoice, e.g. 12345/678.90
