Register of IQPs (Independently Qualified Persons)

This is a list of building practitioners qualified (under the Building Act 2004) to audit buildings for certain safety systems e.g. fire alarms, that require regular testing and maintenance where a compliance schedule is in place. They provide to the building owner certification that allows the owner to issue the buildings annual Warrant of Fitness. Only those persons on the register may provide that certification.

CODE EXPLANATION 
a  Automatic sprinkler systems or other automatic systems of fire protection.
b  Automatic doors which form part of any fire wall and which are designed to close shut and remain shut on an alarm of fire.
