Language Line provides an efficient solution to unexpected language problems.
Hauraki District Council has access to Language Line interpreters. The
Service is available Monday – Friday from 9am-6pm.
Language Line is a telephone interpreting service which offers clients of the
participating agencies free interpreting in 40 different languages. It is
managed by the Office of Ethnic Affairs.
Language Line uses professional qualified interpreters who are committed to a
code of ethics and hold police clearances in their country of residence.
