On the 28 October 2005 a notice under Section 31(2) of the Dog Control Act 1996 (Dangerous Dog) was served on Ms Lisa Simpson of 1 Durham Street, Waihi, on the basis of sworn evidence received on 22 October 2005 attesting to the aggressive behaviour of her Border Collie dog named ‘Basil’. An objection to the classification has been received.
A detailed report is attached.
An appeal has been lodged.
A hearing has been scheduled for 9.15am
RECOMMENDATION
THAT the report be received
AND THAT the matter be heard by the Hearings Committee.
