AND THAT the prices (incl of GST) for the sale of the Lawrence Road sections be as follows:

Lot 1- $78,000; Lot 2 - $92,000; Lot 3 - $77,000; Lot 4 - $70,000; Lot 5 - $76,000; Lot 6 - $110,000; Lot 7 - $68,000; Lot 8 – $115,000; Lot 9 - $105,000; Lot 10 - $130,000.

AND THAT Council consents to the renewal of the above lease pursuant to the Public Bodies Leases Act 1969 and applies the common seal to the renewed lease documentation.

The Corporate Services Manager’s report on the operations of the Corporate Services Department for the month of March 2002 and financial statements for the 8 months ended 28 February 2002 are attached for members’ consideration.

A payments listing for the month of March 2002 will be tabled at the meeting for members’ information.

THAT the report on the operations of the Corporate Services Department for March 2002 and the interim financial reports for the 8 months ended 28 February 2002 be received.

Reports of the matters dealt with by way of delegation from the period 1 March 2002 are attached separately for the Committee’s information.

7.2 PLANNING & ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES REPORT (01.012.023) 22-25

The Planning and Environmental Services Manager has reported on the recent activities of the Planning and Environmental Services Department.

The report, which includes details on both the Consents and Monitoring Divisions, is attached for the Committee’s consideration.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the report be received.

8. GENERAL BUSINESS

8.1 DOG REGISTRATION FEES 2002/2003 (63.100.000) 26

Attached is a report from the Planning & Environmental Services Manager regarding dog registration fees for 2002/2003.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the report be received

AND THAT the Hauraki District Council adopts the fee scale indicated in the report for dog registration in the 2002/03 year.

8.2 HAURAKI GULF FORUM (04.502.001) 27-28

Attached is a report from the Supervisor Resource Management Services on a meeting of the Hauraki Gulf Forum held on 20 February 2002.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the report be received.

8.3 PRESENTATION BY ROSS HENDERSON

Ross Henderson Health Protection Advisor will be attending the meeting at 2.00 pm to give a presentation on his role in liquor licensing.
