5.7 WAIHI BORE WATER INVESTIGATION (43.603.003)
The consultants reports has not been received. The delay is due to efforts to locate an intensive study undertaken by a university student for their doctorate on the movement of ground water in the Waihi basin. The study was undertaken but not published and the researcher has left the country. It is likely the university still holds the information.
5.8 WATER TAKE RESOURCE CONSENTS (43.000.017)
Consultants will be attending the meeting to present information on each of the water take consents and discuss the basis by which each consent is to be lodged. The Iwi consultation meeting on the 1 March will assist in the final proposals.
