Draft drawings are currently being produced for Council by our consultant for the construction of the new treatment plant. These are being reviewed within the next month.

Hikutaia Cut Raw Water Storage

Final prices are being obtained from NIWA for the turbidity sampling that is to be carried out at the cut, Pekapeka intake and the Puke bridge. Testing is also being carried out to determine the quality of raw water available from a site near the Puke bridge.

Final decisions are currently being made about the design of the receiving facility. An invitation has been received to visit the disposal centre at Morrinsville (Thursday 4 October) to see what design has been installed there.
