2. DECLARATION OF LATE ITEMS

Pursuant to Section 46A(7) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, the Chairman is to call for late items to be accepted. In the event of a late item, an explanation must be given as to why the item was not on the agenda and why discussion cannot be delayed for a subsequent meeting.

5.2 DRAINAGE MANAGER’S REPORT (01.011.028) 19-20 9;

The Drainage Manager has reported on drainage matters for the Committee’s consideration. The monthly report is attached.

THAT the report be received

AND THAT the piping of the reach of drain in No 7 George Street, at an estimated cost of up to $24,460, on the basis of one quarter share being contributed by the owner, proceed

AND THAT the adjoining owners be approached to consider contributing a one quarter share to the piping of the remainder of the drain.

Minutes of the Eastern Plains Drainage District Committee held on Tuesday 23 December 2003 are attached.

THAT the minutes of the meeting of the Eastern Plains Drainage District Committee held on Tuesday 23 December 2003 be received and the recommendations contained therein adopted.

Minutes of the Western Plains Drainage District Committee held on Wednesday 28 January 2004 are attached.

THAT the minutes of the meeting of the Western Plains Drainage District Committee held on Wednesday 28 January 2004 be received and the recommendations contained therein adopted.

5.5 UTILITIES MANAGER’S REPORT (01.011.025) 28-32

The Utilities Manager has reported on district utilities matters for the Committee’s consideration.
