5.1 ROADING MANAGER’S REPORT (01.011.026) 7-15 (38KB)

The Roading Manager has reported on district roading matters for the Committee’s consideration. A copy of the report is attached.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the report be received.

5.2 DRAINAGE MANAGER’S REPORT (01.011.028) 16-17 (17KB)

The Drainage Manager has reported on drainage matters for the Committee’s consideration. The monthly report is attached.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the report be received.

5.3 WESTERN PLAINS DRAINAGE DISTRICT COMMITTEE (45.499.999) 18-19

Minutes of the Western Plains Drainage District Committee held on Wednesday 26 May 2004 are attached.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the minutes of the meeting of the Western Plains Drainage District Committee held on Wednesday 26 May 2004 be received and the recommendations contained therein adopted.

5.5 UTILITIES MANAGER WATER SUPPLY REPORT (01.011.025) 20-22 (30KB)

The Utilities Manager has reported on district utilities matters for the Committee’s consideration.

Details are outlined in the attached report.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the report be received.

5.6 UTILITIES MANAGER WASTEWATER AND REFUSE REPORT (01.011.025) 23-27 (27KB)

The Utilities Manager has reported on district utilities matters for the Committee’s consideration.

Details are outlined in the attached report.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the report be received

AND THAT the present Stripped Car Body Disposal voucher system be abandoned as of the 1st July 2004 for a trial period of 6 months

AND THAT the current charge for Stripped Car Body Disposal at the Waihi and Paeroa RTS sites be reduced to zero, with Unstripped Car Body Disposal priced at $25.00 each, as from 1st July 2004 for a trial period of 6 months

AND THAT commercial quantities may only be accepted by prior arrangement with the District Engineer

AND THAT clean tyres (off rims) be accepted at the Waihi and Paeroa RTS sites from 1st July 2004 for a trial period of 6 months, at a charge of:

Car tyres $3.00 each

4WD tyres $4.00 each

Truck tyres $8.00 each

Tractor tyres $21.00 each

AND THAT commercial quantities may only be accepted by prior arrangement with the District Engineer.
