NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A MEETING OF THE HAURAKI DISTRICT COUNCIL WILL BE HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WILLIAM STREET, PAEROA ON WEDNESDAY 25 JUNE 2008 COMMENCING AT 9.00 AM

RECOMMENDATION

8.2 CLIMATE CHANGE ASSUMPTIONS - AN UPDATE (CR CARMINE) (412027)  (27KB)  79-80

Attached is report from Councils’ Policy Analyst and Strategic Planning Projects Manager which provides an update of the climate change assumptions as considered at previous workshops held on the subject.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the report be received

AND THAT the amended assumptions be noted.

8.3 SUBMISSION TO DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING AND HOUSING - REVIEW OF FENCING OF SWIMMING POOLS ACT 1987 (CR CARMINE) (414465)  (45KB)81-83

Attached is a report from the Manager, Regulatory Services regarding Councils’ submission to the Department of Building and Housing in relation to the review of the Fencing of Swimming Pools Act 1987.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the report be received

AND THAT Council endorse this submission on the operational issues identified with the Fencing of Swimming Pools Act 1987 and submit it to the Department of Building & Housing by the due date of the 30th June 2008.
