Attached is a report from the Manager, Regulatory Services regarding Councils’ submission to the Department of Building and Housing in relation to the review of the Fencing of Swimming Pools Act 1987.
RECOMMENDATION
THAT the report be received
AND THAT Council endorse this submission on the operational issues identified with the Fencing of Swimming Pools Act 1987 and submit it to the Department of Building & Housing by the due date of the 30th June 2008.
