NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT AN EXTRAORDINARY MEETING OF THE HAURAKI DISTRICT COUNCIL WILL BE HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WILLIAM STREET, PAEROA ON WEDNESDAY 21 MAY 2008 COMMENCING AT 9.30 AM

WORKSHOP 1: LTCCP 2009-19

As Council is aware a series of workshops has been scheduled for the period May 2008 to March 2009 to over the development of the may issues associated with preparing the Draft Long Term Council Community Plan 2009 – 19 (Hauraki Community Plan),

There are a significant number of projects, policy reviews, and approaches to be considered over this period.

The purpose of Workshop 1 is to:

  • Discuss the proposed project approach

  • Discuss process issues

  • Review work undertaken to date

  • Agree on a draft timetable

  • Discuss work approaches for individual projects

Enclosed with the agenda are two documents.

The first is a subject by subject synopsis of the matters listed above.  The second is a series of appendices relating to document 1

This format has been chosen as it will allow Councillors to review the relevant appendix while discussing the synopsis.

Not all discussion is complete but they have been included so Council is aware of future issues to be discussed.
