2. DECLARATION OF LATE ITEMS

Pursuant to Section 46A (7) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, the Chairman is to call for late items to be accepted.

3.1    MEETING HELD 25 MARCH 2003 1-3

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the minutes of the meeting of the Eastern Plains Drainage District Committee held on Tuesday 25 March 2003 be taken as read and confirmed.

5.    DRAINAGE REPORT (45.498.002) 4-19

The monthly report from the Drainage Manager is attached for the Committee’s consideration

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the report be received

AND THAT W Tye be advised that the EPDD Committee considers the three way cost share for the replacement of the culvert to be appropriate, and request he settle the amount owing

AND THAT Fisher Road Farm Ltd be advised that the EPDD Committee will take over responsibility for the maintenance of 500m of drain on the northern side of Fisher Road, providing the drain is upgraded by the developer to Council’s standards to the satisfaction of the Committee

AND THAT this information be received, and EPDD Committee advise Opus of the most probable alignments for the relocation of the Awaiti roadside drains.

6.    FINANCIAL REPORT (45.498.003) 20-21

The financial report to 10 months to 30 April 2003 is attached for members’ information.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the financial report on the operations of the Eastern Plains Drainage Committee for the 10 months to 30 April 2003 be received.

The Members are invited to comment on any general drainage issues of interest in their areas.
