DRAINAGE REPORT |
1.0 OPERATIONS
This report covers the period to January 2001.
1.1 Spraying
No drains have been sprayed during this period.
1.2 Mechanical Cleaning
The drains machine cleaned to the end of January 2001 are presented in the attached table. The only drain cleaned was the Rotokohu Canal from the Tirohia to the State Highway. This was done in advance of a tropical cyclone, which did not eventuate.
1.3 Floodgates
No significant activities during this period.
1.4 Pump Operation
A summary of pump hour’s operation for the current year is attached for the members’ information.
2.0 SUBDIVISIONS COMMENTED ON
Subdivisions commented on in this period were as follows.
TW & K Burrows, Ryall Road, Paeroa
DM & ES Green, Cadman Road, Paeroa
KH Gillingham, Thorp Road, Paeroa.
3.0 BRIDGE AND CULVERT APPROVALS
No waterway approvals have been granted in this period.
4.0 RAINFALL
No rainfall records have been received in the period.
5.0 GENERAL
The Drainage Rate Review Committee met in November and undertook a tour of all the Council’s drainage districts. A further meeting is to be held in March.
Estimates for the 2001-2002 year are attached for the members’ consideration.
