RESOLVED
THAT the minutes of the meeting of the Western Plains Drainage District Committee held on Wednesday 27 April 2005 be taken as read and confirmed.

MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES
The monthly report from the Drainage Manager was presented for the Committee’s consideration.
RESOLVED
THAT the report be received.
Paul Leonard Drain
Discussion was held regarding the piping of the Paul Leonard drain on the boundary of the proposed new subdivision development.
Ngatea Domain Piping
The Drainage Manager requested the Committee consider a recommendation to pipe the open drain in the Ngatea Domain due to safety and amenity issues raised by adjoining property owners to the Domain.
RESOLVED
THAT the piping of 100m of open drain in Ngatea Domain with 300mm diameter concrete RRJ pipe at an estimated cost of $12,000 be approved.
