The Community Services monthly report on activities is attached for the Committee’s consideration.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the Community Services monthly report be received

NGATEA DOMAIN: NO. 1 RUGBY FIELD

An application of sand is required to the field so that it is bedded in before the athletics and cricket season commences. The cost of this is between $3500 and $5000.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT this work be carried out as soon as ground conditions allow.

Minutes of the Ngatea Hall and Domain Management Committee meeting held on Thursday 19 July 2007 are attached for the information of the Committee.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the minutes of the meeting of the Ngatea Hall and Domain Management Committee held on Thursday 19 July 2007 be received and the recommendations contained therein, adopted.

Draft Footpath Forward Work Programme (FWP) 2007/08

Attached is a report from the Roading Manager detailing the Draft Footpath Forward Work Programme for 2007/08.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the prioritisation methodology used to develop the Forward Work Programme for New and Replacement Footpaths be approved and implemented.

AND THAT an annual review of the programme is carried out.
