NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A MEETING OF THE PLAINS WARD COMMITTEE WILL BE HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WILLIAM STREET, PAEROA ON TUESDAY 13 MARCH 2007 COMMENCING AT 9.00 AM
ORDER OF BUSINESS
Pursuant to Section 46A(7) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, the Chairman is to call for late items to be accepted.
In the event of a late item, an explanation must be given as to why the item was not on the agenda and why discussion cannot be delayed for a subsequent meeting.
RECOMMENDATION
THAT the minutes of the meeting of the Plains Ward Committee held on Tuesday 13TH February 2007 be taken as read and confirmed.

RECOMMENDATION
THAT the Community Services monthly report be received.
Request for Financial Assistance - Order of St Johns (20.030.003)
A request for financial assistance has been received from the Secretary for the Hauraki Plains St. Johns Ambulance. The Hauraki Plains St Johns are launching a fundraising project to upgrade their ambulance station with a "dine and dance" evening in the Ngatea War Memorial hall during the week ending 21st April 2007. The Secretary asks that the Ward consider financial assistance towards the hall hire cost.
RECOMMENDATION
THAT consideration be given to this request.
