REPORTS FROM COMMITTEE MEMBERS ATTENDING COMMUNITY MEETINGS

Cr Hayden advised of his attendance at the Whiritoa Community Liaison Committee meeting.

 

LATE ITEMS OF BUSINESS

Damage to Road Signs

A member raised a concern of vandalism to road signs in the Waihi area and requested that staff investigate what are the criteria for fixing of the standard of urban road signage with a view to moving the signs higher on the poles to put the signs out of reach of those creating the damage.

RESOLVED

THAT the Engineering Division of Council be requested to look at the criteria for urban signs and report to Council.

Health Standards of Food Premises

A member raised a concern regarding the standards required of food premises. The matter was referred to the Planning and Regulatory Department.
