NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A MEETING OF THE WAIHI WARD COMMITTEE WILL BE HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WILLIAM STREET, PAEROA ON TUESDAY 12 SEPTEMBER 2006 COMMENCING AT 2.30 PM

THAT the minutes of the meeting of the Waihi Ward Committee held on Tuesday 15 August 2006 be taken as read and confirmed.

5.2 REQUEST FOR TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE [40.000.500]

RECOMMENDATION
THAT it be recommended to Council as follows:
THAT pursuant to Section 11(a) of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974 Council consent to the temporary road closure of Waitawheta Road, between Taieri and Old Tauranga Roads, from Monday 18 September 2006 to Friday 8 December 2006, for the purpose of an upgrade project undertaken by Works Infrastructure Ltd. be given subject to the following conditions:
The proposed closure will be advertised in the Hauraki Herald on 12 September 2006.
