THAT the Community Services monthly report be received.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the change of date from 4 February 2007 to 11 February 2007 be approved.

REQUEST FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

RECOMMENDATION

THAT consideration be given to these requests.

Waihi Rugby Grounds

A report from the Chief Executive regarding the mowing of the grounds will be circulated prior to or tabled at the meeting.

Pumphouse Matters

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the Waihi Ward Committee consider accepting ownership and operating responsibility for the lighting system around the pumphouse.

Committee members report on community meetings they have attended.

6. GENERAL BUSINESS

6.1 WAIHI ARTS CENTRE AND MUSEUM ASSOCIATION APPLICATION FOR FUNDING (01.000.020) (62KB) 30-57

Attached is a report from the Chief Executive regarding a request for financial assistance received from the Waihi Arts Centre and Museum Association. A copy of the funding application is also attached for the member’s information.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the report be received.

Ollie Richardson, Waihi Arts Centre and Museum Association Funding Co-ordinator will be in attendance at 3:30pm to answer any questions that the Ward members have.

6.2 WAIHI WARD ESTIMATES 2007/08 (21KB)58-63

Attached is a report from the Chief Executive regarding the Ward estimates for the 2007/08 year for the member’s consideration.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the Committee considers the proposed Estimates for the Waihi Ward for 2007/08.
