District Plan Review

Hearings Deliberations Phase

Council staff and Planning Consultants prepared staff reports on all the individual submission points received. These were sent out to the submitters.

The Hearings started on Tuesday 18 October and continued through to 30 March 2012, in the Council Chamber in the Council's Paeroa Office. During this period the Committee also deliberated on the submissions it heard and on those on which the speakers did not speak.

Once all the submitters have been heard and all the written submissions considered, the District Plan Committee will recommend decisions to the full Council.

Staff are preparing the 'Decisions' version of the District Plan text and maps, which will be released with the Council's decisions towards the end of 2012

The Council's decisions will be released early next year.
