Submission Period

The Proposed District Plan was open for public submissions from 24 August 2010 until Tuesday 19 October 2010.

The Proposed Variation No.1 was open for public submissions from 15 October 2010 until Tuesday 19 November 2010.

Further Submissions were open from 30 November 2010 until 4:00pm on Wednesday 15 December 2010.

An additional further submission period was open from 22 February 2011 until 4:00pm on Tuesday 8 March 2011.

Planning Maps
 
The Proposed District Plan Maps are available Adobe Acrobat format in two resolutions, low and high.
The low resolution maps are recommended for faster viewing on home internet connections and range between 150KB and 650KB each.
The high resolution maps are recommended for faster business internet connections and range between 650KB and 2500KB (2.5MB) each.

The Proposed District Plan maps include maps  4, 6, 8 – 35, E, F, G6, H1 – H3, K1 – K4 as amended by Proposed Variation No.1
 
Schedule 1 : Clause 16(2) Resource Management Act – Alteration of Information & Correction of Minor Errors

As provided for by Clause 16(2) the Council has made the following alterations:

Legend:
  1. The colours on the legend did not correspond with some of the colours on the maps and the colours on the legend have now been altered to ensure they match the colours on the maps; and
  2. To add notations to the legend for the following matters appearing on the planning maps, which were initially omitted from the legend:
    1. Proposed Esplanade Reserves;
    2. Outstanding Natural Features (Areas);
    3. Water Supply Catchment Boundary; and
    4. Spillways
  3. Minor corrections to cross referencing to sections of the planning text.

Planning Maps

  1. Correction of colour of Marae Development Zone on Map D – Kerepehi; and
  2. Correction of colour of boundary of Henderson Reserve on Map 9.

The amended versions of the above were placed on the website at 9.45am on 26 August, 2010.
