Hauraki District Council Residents Survey 2007

During August and September 2007 interviewing took place across Hauraki District for Councils 2007 resident’s survey. To ensure a proportionately representative sample of the Hauraki District’s population, 116 interviews were conducted with residents in the Plains ward, 132 interviews were conducted with residents in the Paeroa ward and 152 interviews were conducted with residents in the Waihi ward. Quotas were enforced regarding age and gender, to ensure that the proportionally representative section of Hauraki District was covered.

The results show a stable level of satisfaction with the general activities carried out by Council.

The results of this survey are used for many of Councils Key Performance Indicators, and help gauge what level of satisfaction the Community has with council activities. Results will be analysed, and learning taken from points that the Community has raised during this process.

Council received the Draft report on the 14th November 2007.
