Every year we show our appreciation for the achievements of our young people and the commitment of our citizens with a special awards evening.

The 2017 Citizen and Young Achievers awards evening saw nine of our finest young people and 10 of our most committed citizens walk across the stage. As usual it was an absolute honour to be able to do something small for those who spend so much time doing big things for others, and a real joy to celebrate the achievements of some of the District’s youngest role models.

Congratulations and thank you to you all. We’re incredibly proud to be able to say you hail from Hauraki and look forward to watching you continue to achieve great things in future.
