Waihi Library Assistant Required
(Two days per week and on call)
Hauraki District Council is seeking to appoint a Library Assistant to join
its team at Waihi Library.
Prior library experience is desirable but not essential. What is essential are
excellent customer services skills, a broad general knowledge, being comfortable
dealing with a diverse range of people, and computer literacy. Familiarity with
using databases and online search tools would be an advantage.
This is a great opportunity for a true library all-rounder. As part of a small,
close-knit team, you will get a chance to contribute to all aspects of the
library service. If you’re dedicated to helping people and have the flexibility
to do extra hours as required then this could be the opportunity for you. Our
