POOL SUPERVISOR
If you have a positive can-do attitude,
the ability to deal with a variety of situations and would enjoy being part of
our team to ensure our community swimming pools are monitored and safe for our
swimmers to enjoy, we would love to hear from you.
We require a highly motivated, personable
and committed Pool Supervisor to oversee our team of 17 lifeguards and our 3
swimming pools located in Paeroa, Ngatea and Waihi for the 2011-12 pool season.
The position is for a fixed term of 5 months starting in October.
As Pool Supervisor you will need to
ensure the pools are staffed and ready for the public to enjoy a safe, clean and
fun environment. You will need to be able to motivate your team and ensure a
high standard of customer service. Computer skills and a current driver’s
license are essential. You will also require the NZ National Pool Lifeguard
Award (you will need to demonstrate that you can swim at least 200 metres) and
First Aid Certificate however Council will provide this training if necessary.
