(Clause 8 of Schedule 1, Resource Management Act 1991)

Hauraki District Council hereby gives notice that a corrected partial Summary of Decisions requested by persons making submissions on the Proposed Hauraki District Plan has been prepared. The reasons for re-notification of some of the decisions sought within submissions on the Proposed Hauraki District Plan are as follows:

• Minor errors have been found in some of the decisions sought of individual submissions, to the extent that the errors may have affected the ability of persons wishing to lodge further submissions to identify decisions sought of interest to them.
• The summary of decisions sought arranged by Section Number of the Proposed Hauraki District Plan was not arranged strictly in numerical section number order in some places, which may have affected the ability of persons wishing to lodge further submissions to identify decisions sought of interest to them. Only those decisions sought that were out of numerical order are to be open for further submissions.

In addition, a late submission on Variation No 1 has been received and accepted by Council, which was not publicly notified with the previous Summary of Decisions requested.

Only decisions sought falling within the above categories will be available for further submissions.

Note: Further submissions that have already been lodged with Council on the renotified submissions do not need to be lodged again.

The partial Summary of Decisions requested that fall within the above categories, and the full submissions received by Council for the Proposed Hauraki District Plan and the late submission on Variation No. 1, may be inspected at the Hauraki District Council offices at:

Williams Street, Paeroa;
Orchard Road, Ngatea
Seddon Street, Waihi.

Any person described in clause 8 (1) may make a further submission on the submissions.

Clause 8 (1)

a) any person representing a relevant aspect of the public interest; and
b) any person that has an interest in the proposed plan greater than the interest that the general public has; and
c) the local authority itself.

Those persons may make a further submission in support of or in opposition to the relevant submission by sending a written submission addressed to:

The further submission must be in accordance with Form 6 and must state whether or not you wish to be heard on your further submission.

The further submission must be limited to a matter in support of or in opposition to the relevant submission you are making the further submission on.

You must send a copy of your further submission to the person whose submission you are supporting or opposing, within 5 working days of sending it to the Council.

Copies of the further submission forms are available from the Hauraki District Council offices and website. Please note that there are separate further submission forms for the Proposed Hauraki District Plan and for Variation No 1. Further submissions closed at 4pm on 8 March 2011.
