A number of halls and an event centre are available in the Hauraki District and are maintained by the Hauraki District Council. The halls can be booked by the community for a range of fee types dependent upon the type of use. Halls are provided to encourage and facilitate the community’s wellbeing, by providing places for recreational, sporting, cultural and leisure needs.

Memorial Halls
Bookings for the Memorial Halls can be made between 8.00am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday by:

- calling into one of the Council Offices.
Waihi Event Centre
Bookings for the Waihi Event Centre can be made by:
- contacting the sports coordinator of Sport 'n Action at the Events Centre or
- phoning 07 863 7295 or 021 223 7295.
