Hauraki District Libraries operate three branches located in Ngatea, Paeroa and Waihi. Between them, the libraries have a collection of approximately 50,000 items which are replenished at a rate of approximately 6,000 per year to ensure our collections remain current.

RefuseRefuse & Recycling

Hauraki District Council provides a pre-paid rubbish bag collection and recycling service for most urban areas. Two refuse transfer stations are operating in the Hauraki District, located in Paeroa and Waihi.
