Public Swimming Pools

Hauraki District Council operates two public swimming pools:
They are open daily during the summer. Refer to the individual pool to view times, activities, days closed and charges.
There is no council operated swimming pool in Waihi; however the Waihi
College Swimming Pool is available for public use.

There are two pools in Ngatea; the main pool is 33 yards long with 6 lanes as
well as a small learners pool. Heated to 26o

Supervising person (non swimming) may enter the grounds free of charge.
During the month of January the admission price per person will be just $1.
NO CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF 8 YEARS SHALL ENTER THE POOL UNLESS IN THE CHARGE OF A PERSON OVER THE AGE OF 16 YEARS. SUPERVISING PERSONS MAY ENTER THE GROUNDS FREE OF CHARGE.
