Proposed Temporary Road Closure

Pursuant to the Section 11(e) of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 2002,
notice is hereby given that for the purpose of the Waihi Christmas Parade organised by
Go Waihi, it is intended to close the following road to ordinary vehicular traffi c for the period indicated hereunder. During the proposed period of closure provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic, which would otherwise use the road, to use alternative routes.

Period of closure: Saturday, 12 December 2015, Midday to 2.00pm.

Road to be closed: Seddon St from Moresby Ave/Rosemont Rd cnr up to Mueller St roundabout.

Alternative provision for ordinary vehicular traffic will be made with signs, cones and barriers to redirect traffi c on detour.

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the proposed period of closure.

Changes to Kerbside Refuse and Recycling Collection

Labour Day

Due to Monday, 26 October 2015 being a statutory holiday, kerbside collections scheduled in the Waihi Ward for the week 26 to 30 October 2015 will be carried out a day later than normal. The schedule below shows the changes to the collection days.
