Public notice of application concerning resource consent

Section 95A, Resource Management Act 1991

Hauraki District Council has received an application from Kiwi Tyre Recycling Co Ltd for a resource consent.

The application is to establish an industrial activity (tyre recycling) at 85 Pipiroa Road, Ngatea 3597 (Lot 1 DPS 21935).

The application includes an assessment of environmental effects.

The application may be inspected at the Paeroa Office, William Street, Paeroa or the Ngatea Area Office, Orchard Road, Ngatea or on the website www.hauraki-dc.govt.nz

Any person may make a submission on the application, but a person who is a trade competitor of the applicant may do so only if that person is directly affected by an effect of the activity to which the application relates that –

a) adversely affects the environment; and

b) does not relate to trade competition or the effects of trade competition.

You may make a submission by sending a written or electronic submission to Hauraki District Council at William Street, P.O. Box 17, Paeroa 3640 or info@hauraki-dc.govt.nz. The submission must be in Form 13. Copies of this form are available from Hauraki District Council.

Submissions close at 4.30pm on 27th May 2016.

You must serve a copy of your submission on Kiwi Tyre Recycling Co Ltd (the applicant), whose address for service is Attention: Val Sainty, PO Box 366, THAMES 3540, as soon as reasonably practicable after serving your submission on Hauraki District Council.
