NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A MEETING OF THE PLAINS WARD COMMITTEE WILL BE HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WILLIAM STREET, PAEROA ON TUESDAY 12 AUGUST 2014 COMMENCING AT 9.00 AM
ORDER OF BUSINESS
2. DECLARATION OF LATE ITEMS
Pursuant to Section 46A(7) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, the Chairman is to call for late items to be accepted.
In the event of a late item, an explanation must be given as to why the item was not on the agenda and why discussion cannot be delayed for a subsequent meeting.
3. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES
THAT the minutes of the meeting of the Plains Ward Committee held on Tuesday 15 July 2014 are confirmed and are a true and correct record.
4. MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES
5. COMMUNITY SERVICES
The Community Services monthly report on activities for the month of July 2014 is attached for the Committee’s consideration.
THAT the Community Services monthly report be received, and
THAT consideration be given to the request from R J & B D Sturgeon of 7 Madgwick Place, Ngatea seeking the removal of a tree in Madgwick Place, and
THAT consideration is given to the request from a Kaiaua resident seeking funding support of Xmas lights, and
THAT consideration is given to the request from Gary and Liz Murphy for the removal of several Pohutukawa trees on Council Reserve land adjacent to 1851 East coast road, Kaiaua.
6. COMMUNITY SERVICES/NETWORK SERVICES/PLANNING AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
As part of the development of the 2015-25 Hauraki Long Term Plan being undertaken by the Strategic Planning Department, attached is a report and table (Appendix A) detailing the progress of actions assigned to staff for follow up.
THAT the report be received.
