From Monday 20 July to Friday 31 July 2026 (weather permitting), Awaiti West Road will be closed at the bridge near the intersection with Awaiti Canal Road while essential bridge repairs are carried out.
The road will be closed to through traffic 24 hours a day, including weekends, for the duration of the works.
A signed detour will be in place via:
- Awaiti Canal Road
- Kerepēhi Town Road
- Kaikahu Road
- Wanī Road
Please allow a little extra travel time and follow all temporary road signs.
