Celebrating local business success with Richardsons
“Sponsoring the Hauraki Coromandel Business Awards isn’t new for Richardsons Real Estate. They’ve been a dedicated sponsor of the Community Business Award category for many years, but this year they’re celebrating real success in a big way by becoming the naming rights sponsor of the Awards and we’re very grateful”, said Hauraki District mayor, Toby Adams.
“It means the awards can continue to inspire local businesses to reach new heights. We’re also incredibly grateful to have the ongoing support of More FM and welcome on-board representatives from Thames Business Association and Positive Paeroa (soon to be known as Paeroa Business Association) as community advisors.
For Richardsons’ owners, Emma Ashworth and Peter Richardson, the Business Awards represent real locals celebrating real success.
“We’re all about showcasing what makes the Hauraki Coromandel districts great places to live, work and play”, they said.
“Supporting and uplifting businesses to celebrate and recognise their achievements is something that can make a real difference to our communities. Richardsons Real Estate has been keeping it real locally since 1960, so we’re very proud to add our support to the 2024 Hauraki Coromandel Business Awards.”
New brand, new categories
Thames-Coromandel Mayor Len Salt and Hauraki District Mayor Toby Adams invited Richardsons to the Hauraki Chambers to formally thank them for their sponsorship and to reveal a new look brand and categories for the awards.
The new categories reflect the unique aspects of the district. Alongside sector excellence awards there are now categories to recognise community contribution; resilience; digital strategy; environment and contribution to tourism and hospitality. The popular People’s Choice Award remains, as does Service to Business.
