REQUEST FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE (CDV-30-100/01)

Paeroa Community Support Trust [1074937]

The Chair and Treasurer has written seeking financial assistance for the Trust.

Over the past 17 years the Trust has built a solid foundation of respect and social capital with a wide variety of activities that serve the community.

This year the Trust has experienced some external factors that have impacted their finances. Donor organisations have reduced funding including limiting wage funding. Dates to receive funding have also changed from June to October creating a cash flow issue for the next 3 months. The Trust intends to continue their work in the community without interruption or cutting back on services.

The writers request that Council consider assisting the Trust with a one-off donation to cover their costs from July - September when further funding is expected.
