Proposed Temporary Road Closure

Pursuant to the Section 11(e) of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that for the purpose of the Warm Up Party for Beach Hop event organised by Go Waihi it is intended to close the following roads to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder. During the proposed period of closure provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic, which would otherwise use the road, to use alternative routes.

Period of closure: Wednesday 24 March 2021, 8.00am to 3.00pm

Roads to be closed in Waihi:
Seddon Street from School Lane right through to Gilmour Street.
Gilmour Street from Seddon Street to Kenny Street.
Mueller Street from Seddon Street down to the service lane.
Haszard Street from Martha Street down the service lane.
Moresby Ave from upside of the service lane to the Memorial hall down to Seddon Street.
Rosemont Road from Seddon Street to Kenny Street.

Alternative provision for ordinary vehicular traffic will be made with signs, cones and barriers to redirect traffic on detour.
It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the proposed period of closure.

Temporary Road Closure

Pursuant to the Section 11(e) of the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that for the purpose of the 28th Paeroa Highland Games and Tattoo event, the following roads will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated below. During the period of closure provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic, which would otherwise use the road, to use alternative routes.

Date and time of closure: Saturday 13 February 2021, 6.30am to 6.30pm.

Roads to be closed:
Willoughby Street from Corbett Street to Arney Street.
Corbett Street from Albert Street to King Street.
King Street, Hall Street and Mackay Street, Paeroa.

Alternative provision for ordinary vehicular traffic will be made with signs, cones and barriers to redirect traffic on detour.
