The report for the draft ward estimates for 2011-12 were presented for consideration.

Ngatea War Memorial - Chair replacement & sound system upgrade
Chairs are OK at the moment – will be looked at in 2012-22 LTP process. Sound system deemed unnecessary.
Ngatea Pool buildings repaint
Swap as below for the painting of the pool interior (this item to be carried out 2013/14)
Ngatea War Memorial - Hall Kitchen Upgrade
Ngatea pool container repaint
Swapped with buildings repaint.

Orchard Road & Darlington St - Revamp Boxed Gardens & Median Strip Garden
Spread $15,000 over three years.
i.e. $5,000 for 2011/12, 12/13 and 13/14 years.
Turua, Mangatarata, Kaihere reserves- new Picnic Tables
Kerepehi Playground - Playground Equipment Renewal
Allowance for a new swing set only. Remains to be assessed with the 2012-22 LTP.
Rays Rest Kaiaua - evaluate public toilet & sewer dump station system
Suggest continuing with evaluation, however believing it’s a district function. Recommendation to go to District - Carried Gordon/Challis
Hugh Hayward Domain Grandstand - Interior Painting & Replace Internal fittings
Swim Pool - 1/3 Share in pool toy replacement
Kaiaua Reserves - Ground levelling Oyster Catcher Reserve
Assess in 2012-22 LTP process. Not a high priority.
Ngatea Hall East Car Park (brought forward from 2015/16 year)
Assess in 2012-22 LTP process.
Hugh Hayward Domain
As per 2009-19 LTCCP.
Plains Road Reserves
Reduction to proposed.
Ngatea Main Street
Would like staff to work on this and get it reduced.
