Hugh Hayward Domain Park Development

The playground equipment for the Park has been delivered and will be installed as soon as the weather allows.

Hugh Hayward Domain – Parking

There is a problem with parking at the Domain especially on a Saturday with various sports being played. Cars are parking on the grass area which in the winter is becoming increasingly wet and boggy. Council staff would like to keep the cars off this area during the winter months.

The Ward Committee requested that for the moment they would prefer a temporary solution. Thoughts were that once other areas have been brought into use that this may solve the problem. However, concerns where raised on the "look" of temporary fencing solutions albeit only for a couple of months.

The original agreement has been revised and was attached for the member’s consideration.
