Ngatea's new town centre footpath is almost done and dusted. We're happy to say we're on target to have the bulk of the concrete poured before Christmas, leaving just the finishing touches to be completed early in the New Year. From Monday next week our crews will start packing up the site before heading off on a well deserved Christmas break on Wednesday.
Finishing touches
We'll be back for about two weeks in early January to touch up a few areas of footpath and finish landscaping work around the site.
Moratorium from 23 December to 5 January
Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency has a moratorium on road works on State Highways from 23 December to 5 January. This means we have to pack up and remove all our traffic management cones and fencing so the roads are clear for the Christmas holiday traffic.
