What are we doing about climate change?
We're looking at ways we can proactively reduce our emissions over the coming years as we all have a part to play. We’re focusing on our organisation emissions first as we want to get our own house in order. Then we’ll talk with our communities about the district emissions and work with iwi, business, youth and the wider community to achieve our collective goals. Making a plan for our district is a good way to build a common understanding of the issues and identify opportunities for collaborative action.
