School Holiday Programme Te Hotaka Mo Ngā Hararei

If you’ve got tamariki (and yourself) to keep entertained in the holidays, check out the school holiday programme at our three libraries between 12 – 23 July. There’s something for everyone.

There’s so much to do in our libraries!
It’s school holiday time, so that means our holiday programme is back at all three branches. Children are invited to join us from 2-4pm each weekday to sail the seas with Māui and explore a magical wonderland with Alice. Bookings not required.
Did you know we have an online book chat group?
If you enjoy chatting about the books you have been reading and sharing recommendations we have two opportunities for you to connect with like minded people. Our online book chat group meets via zoom on Tuesday at 7pm (email us for an invite hdc-library@hauraki-dc.govt.nz) and we meet in person at our Paeroa Branch on Wednesday at 10:30am.
What about delving into your family ancestry?
Our Genealogy Support Session is on Wednesday 10am – 1pm at our Waihi Branch for anyone who might like some help researching their family tree or learning about our Ancestry database subscription.
Know anyone who needs help with setting up their phone, tablet or internet?
Tell them about our Drop in Technology Support Session! It takes place on Friday 10am-12pm in our Waihi library.
Lego Challenge
We will also be getting the LEGO out for our usual Brick Construction Challenge on Friday 2-4pm.
