If you thought the 2021 Property Valuations should be out by now, you’d be right.

Valuations were due this year

Property re-valuations are done every three years and the last time they were done in Hauraki District was July 2018.

So new valuations were due this July, but because of Covid lockdown restrictions, there has been a delay to re-valuations nationwide.

New Valuations due February 2022

Hauraki District properties will now be re-valued as at 1 September 2021 with notices in the post by 16 February 2022. If you don’t agree with the valuation you receive, you will have until 24 March 2022 to submit your objection.

Learn more about Property Valuations and how they are used to calculate rates for the next three years, effective from 1 July 2022.
