Introducing our guest expert
We’re lucky to have as our guest expert, Michelle Urquhart, a Tompkins Wake Associate and specialist in Employment and Immigration Law.
Michelle will be answering questions on general HR issues and common employer situations that can be hard to navigate. To be sure to get the most out of the session, attendees can email their questions in advance to email@example.com
For Michelle, getting the employment relationship right starts at the very beginning of the hiring process.
“Prospective employees can be picky about who they work for at the moment. Employers need to be on top of their game to have the best chance of attracting the right people. Preparation is the best approach, so I’ll be talking about that during this event”, she said.
Michelle is an Associate of the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand and an appointed member of the Mediation Panel. She acts as a mediator in a wide range of HR, civil and commercial disputes and is also a guest lecturer and assessor at Te Piringa Law Faculty of Waikato University.
