Our solid waste bylaw is about keeping the public and our waste contractor safe, and minimising nuisance from kerbside rubbish and recycling. It contains rules around:

  • Containers for kerbside rubbish collection
  • Separation of waste and recyclables
  • Securing rubbish at the kerbside and in transportation
  • Storing or accumulating waste on your property
  • Using our refuse transfer stations
  • Prohibited/dangerous waste
  • Use of waste collector vehicles
  • Our system of fees and charges
