NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A MEETING OF THE PAEROA WARD COMMITTEE WILL BE HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WILLIAM STREET, PAEROA ON TUESDAY 13 MAY 2014 COMMENCING AT 12.30PM

Pursuant to Section 46A(7) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, the Chairman is to call for late items to be accepted.

In the event of a late item, an explanation must be given as to why the item was not on the agenda and why discussion cannot be delayed for a subsequent meeting.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the minutes of the meeting of the Paeroa Ward Committee held on Tuesday 15 April 2014 are confirmed and are a true and correct record.

The Community Services monthly report on activities is attached for the Committee’s consideration.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the Community Services monthly report be received, and

THAT the correspondence from the Historical Maritime Park Inc., Victim Support and Karangahake Hall Market be received, and

THAT Council considers the request from a resident of River Road, Karangahake for Council to mow a section of the Ohinemuri Riverbank in front of their property, and

THAT should the request be granted that the annual cost of $865.00 is funded from the Paeroa urban road side mowing budget.

The District Engineer and Roading Manager have reported on roading matters in the Paeroa Ward for consideration.

RECOMMENDATION

THAT the report be received, and

THAT the Paeroa Ward approves reconstruction of the Ohinemuri Club entrance on Princess Street at the estimated cost of $2,500 funded from savings in the Capital Work programme.
