ANZAC Day Commemoration Parades and Services are held around the District each year on 25 April.

ANZAC Day dawn service at the cenotaph on Primrose Hill, Paeroa.RSA Dawn Services

Dawn Services start at 6am at the foot of the War Memorial Cenotaph on Primrose Hill, Paeroa, and at Waihi RSA in the memorial area behind the club.

Dawn Services are run by the RSA and are listed on the RSA website

ANZAC Services and Parades 

Citizens are invited to attend Public Commemoration Services held in the Hauraki District on Sunday 25 April 2021.


6 am Dawn service, Cenotaph, Primrose Hill
9 am Parade from Marshall St to War Memorial Hall, via Belmont Road and Normanby Road
9:15 am Service at Paeroa War Memorial Hall


6 am Dawn service, Waihi RSA 
8 am Wreath laying, Waihi Cemetery
10:45 am Parade from Seddon St to Waihi Memorial Hall
11 am Service at Waihi Memorial Hall
