Kaiaua Coast 2120

Come along to our first workshop
Saturday 30 November
10am to 12pm
at Kaiaua Community Hall

Kaiaua Coast 2120 is a major project that will look at a wide range of issues around the coast and how we can provide for a resilient and prosperous future over the next 100 years.

We also want to look at opportunities for the growth and development of our communities on the coast, which includes Waharau, Whakatiwai, Kaiaua and Pūkorokoro-Miranda.

Workshop content
  • We want to talk to you about how we see the project unfolding and hear your thoughts on this.
  • We’ve been working on improving our knowledge of hazards in the area, now we want to tell you all about it.
  • We want to find out what matters to you about your place/rohe, and what you love about living in this area.
  • We will be flagging the opportunity for you to actively participate through the community panel. You can nominate yourself or someone else to be on the panel.

After the workshop, stay for a cup of tea and have a chat with our team.

Never fear if you can’t be there - there’ll be other ways to be involved - we’ll keep you up to date.
