Week 2 begins Monday 16 September 2019

Resource consents require that OceanaGold provide to the Council regular monitoring reports on: noise; vibration; complaints; the location of underground workings; filled and unfilled stopes, seismic & rock movement; ground stability and ground settlement. OceanaGold NZ Ltd owns and operates the Martha open pit mine and the Favona, Trio, Correnso and Slevin underground mines – all of which are in Waihi. Monitoring reports received are made available to the public on this page of the Hauraki District Council’s website as well as on OceanaGold’s website.
